Getting Your Students Involved
Since shared ownership is one of the central elements of FISH! For Schools, the Expedition Guide is designed to get your students involved and invested in cocreating their classroom culture. Each of the developmentally differentiated Expedition Guides uses a unique theme to create connections for your students.
The Expedition Guide contains everything you need: lesson plans, reproducibles, posters and other tools. Most lessons can be completed in 20-30 minutes, but the flexible design allows you to expand and integrate them with whatever content you are teaching. The Expedition Guide also includes Student FISH!, an eight-minute version of the original film, specially edited for use with students of all ages.
