The
heart of FISH! for Schools can be found in the Expedition Pack.
Each is filled
with almost everything you need to help you transform the
culture of your class. Separated into developmentally appropriate
grade
groups for maximum effectiveness, the Expedition Pack has
two main components: the Guided Journey and the Expedition
Guide.
Guided Journey
A personalized staff development course that is designed especially
for educators.
By completing this self-guided DVD/Video course and journal,
you’ll deepen your skills in classroom cultural management
through new techniques for building relationships, developing
shared ownership and creating a safe and effective learning
environment with the common language of The FISH! Philosophy.
New for ’05! Upgraded Guided Journey DVD with an entire section dedicated to the original FISH!® film.
Expedition Guide
An original series of classroom activities designed to foster
authentic, positive relationships among students and teachers.
The activities and materials in the Expedition Guide are age-appropriate.
Each level (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, or 9-12) uses a unique theme to
engage students and assist teachers in creating the kind of
atmosphere that promotes real learning.
Every Expedition Guide also includes classroom posters (several
of which are write on/wipe off), Culture Connection conversation
starters, age-specific Situation Cards, a variety of reproducibles,
and other fun stuff to help you succeed in creating the kind
of classroom or school environment that invigorates students,
teachers, parents and ultimately, the whole community!
